Trying to stay up...

I am trying to stay up as late as possible in preperation of starting my new job on Sunday night when I have to work 7p to 5a. Rich is laughing at me, you'll never make it. Says I should just give up and go to bed. But I am going to try! I may end up on the couch but I don't want to be falling asleep on my first night. This is certainly going to be the hardest part - adjusting to the different schedules. I think Rich just wants me to warm up the bed for him! I have also been studying hard.

Tonight I stopped at my mom's to see my niece and nephew before trick-or-treating. They, of course, are my little princess and prince. Jess is my girl through and through - so much alike! They were so cute in their costumes. Here is a picture of them with me and then one of them and their friends at grandma's door trick or treating.

Me and my favorite ghouls

Anything good?
I was also "Booed" by Luann at Loose Threads. Thanks Luann! I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!

Lastly here is a picture of Rich that I managed to get this afternoon. He was playing in an online poker tournament and will not be happy to see his picture posted, but oh well!

My guy

I am off to blog read and then play computer games. I can't sew tonight, the BIL has his gf over so I don't want to bother them while they are watching a movie. I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!

My hubby works rotating shifts (2 days each then 3 over the weekend-goes on a 6 week cycle)...first 6 am to 2pm, then 2pm to 10 pm and last 10 pm to 6 am...

the night shift is the worse for him, not because he can't stay up at work but that the next day he's a zombie...so basically it's a lost day. Good luck with that!
You'll get used to it soon enough!
That job should be rather exciting so no time for dozing! Can you read while you are at work?

(My husband takes reading material to night shift....I say "What? I never even sit down when I work!! no fair")
