I don't cook

I am not the cook in our house, never have been. Rich does 90% of the cooking and it works just fine for us. He likes to cook, and I do the cleaning up. I can cook, I just don't. But every now and then I do make something and one of my "specialties" is home made beef stew. It is definately my favorite cold weather food and I have to say that I make a pretty good one. I learned how to make it from my mom, and its not like its hard. Brown the meat, and throw it all in the crock-pot. So this is our dinner tonight and probably tomorrow.

Rich usually adds rice or peas to his and sometimes I add green beans to mine. He hates green beans, and I hate peas so we each make it our "own" after its cooked. Just works better that way. The boys sometimes eat it and sometimes don't.

And of course, I haven't gotten anything done that I wanted to get done. I went to my mom's to give her her birthday present and was there for a little bit and then went to Target to get my prescriptions and some other necessities. State is on in half an hour so I will be snuggled down in the couch with Rich once the game starts. Then later tonight, sewing on my Xmas tree skirts. But they should go pretty fast so that will be good!
