One PIF received!

Granny Lyn received her PIF gift from me! Yeah! And she likes it, even better! Here is a picture of her gift. I can show it because her gift was specific to her. I am trying to make my gifts individualized as much as I can!

Today is booking through thursday. Here is today's question:

Reading something frivolous? Or something serious? Serious, just finished frivolous
Paperbacks? Or hardcovers? Whatever the library has!
Fiction? Or Nonfiction? Both
Poetry? Or Prose? Prose

Biographies? Or Autobiographies? Both
History? Or Historical Fiction? Both
Series? Or Stand-alones? Both
Classics? Or best-sellers? Both
Lurid, fruity prose? Or straight-forward, basic prose? Either
Plots? Or Stream-of-Consciousness? More plots, but either
Long books? Or Short? Both
Illustrated? Or Non-illustrated? Mostly non-illustrated
Borrowed? Or Owned? Mostly library
New? Or Used? Again, mostly library

There you have it, I read just about anything!! I actually just finished a book called The Manny, not a great read, but quick and easy. Now I am reading Bones to Ashes by Kathy Reichs...its not bad, just moving slow. But Finger-lickin' Fifteen is waiting for me at the library!!!

What a great gift. I really need to get a list from you of your favorite reads. I'm always looking for a good book.

What a great PIF - you did well! The library that is a few blocks away from me has been closed for a while due to remodeling. I have missed it so much! While I have been others that are about a 10 min. drive away it has just not been the same. There is a sign on the library door that it will reopen in late August. I am so ready!

Beautiful PIF gifts, Sara.

I used to be an insatiable reader but now I just can't seem to 'make' the time. I have so many books just waiting for me to turn their covers because they know once I start, I won't put them down til the last word is read.

...and if I don't find a book, I'll read the dictionary...;-D

I read a lot too, and almost anything! Thankfully, my kids like to read too.

Great PIF!

I love that you read such a wide variety of books. Funny story about me and books. Yesterday DH and I were out running some errands and decided to stop in Bargain Books. Before we went in he turned to me and said very seriously, "What time are we going to leave? We have to have a set time." He then proceeded to accuse me of being a "book omnivore" who has no self control. I, of course, denied this. And then 45 minutes later I had my arms full of books I wanted. In my defense-all but two paperbacks are gifts for people. But I think he may have a point.

I got home from vacation and your PIF was waiting for me. Thanks. I love it. The halloween table runner is perfect! And my little guy has already claimed the pinwheel as his tiny tv pillow. He is so funny laying on it. :)

You've done good with the reading. I am still reading The Red Tent and started The Changeling.
