I can't keep up!

...with all of you! Everytime I stop in it seems like everyone else has updated and are busy as beavers! I can hardly keep up with all the blog reading! I do read everyone's blog, but I may not comment all the time! Just so you know!

But I get this finished.

My first finish for April! And it is going to Q4H. I really like it though, I am not a purple/pink fan, I really like how it came out.
And I am working on my PIF gifts. I almost have them done. I just have to do a few more things and they will be done. (Ok, Carol, yours isn't done...still working on it! LOL!).

Tonight I am going to be doing some hand sewing, reading and definately ride my horse. It is 60 and sunny out so I will definately get out there!

Happy Booking Through Thursday!
Some people read one book at a time. Some people have a number of them on the go at any given time, perhaps a reading in bed book, a breakfast table book, a bathroom book, and so on, which leads me to…

Are you currently reading more than one book? Nope I never read more than one
If so, how many books are you currently reading? See above
Is this normal for you? Yep, I can't stand to read more than one because then I get confused!
Where do you keep your current reads? Wherever I am, usually on the coffee table by the couch, the kitchen table or on my nightstand.
What are you reading?

I'm not a "pink person" at all (though I like purple), but really like your 4H quilt colors -- looks perfect for spring/April/Easter time. I like your pattern on it too! It's only one book at a time for me and it usually follows me around (deck, family room, etc.). When I'm not reading it, it generally lives on the dining room table (with other reading material) or my bedside table. (Sara, Q's taking a vacation day in honor of Sunny's 14th birthday, I'll work tomorrow, then busy weekend with Holly's family coming up here on Easter. Soooo, I'll write early next week! Thanks for your nice long one! :-))

I usually read one book at a time and it goes with me from the living room to the porch to the fitness center to the bed at night - normally I get done with a book in one or two days, then if I don't get to the library or the bookstore I pull another one off of the many book shelves that I have (floor to ceiling in some areas of the house) and get started on an old favorite.
I don't know if you read John Sandford Prey series but a new one is coming out on May 12th. I buy his - I have all of them and reread every one of them every other year or so :)

I like the pink/purple quilt. The color & fabric combination look great. I can only read 1 book at a time. I just finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Very good!

EEK!! does that mean I have to start worrying about my PIF's??

I am reading a Debbie Macomber novel, "Twenty Wishes"---for a while I wasn't reading anything, so my Mr. Wonderful brought me a nice light novel to get me reeled back in...is'nt he sweet?

I only read one book at a time, because, like you, I get confused. Plus I tend to read mysteries. If you mix those, then you get REALLY confused.

When I am reading, I usually keep my book in my work bag. That way I can take it to work with me to read over lunch.

I'm currently reading "Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination" by Neal Gabler. It is sooo good. I'm really relating to Walt Disney's early years, possibly because he was a contemporary of my granddad. It's fascinating. I have many "heroes" in my life, but two of the biggest are Walt Disney and Jim Henson. Gee...think I'm a Mickey Mouse and Kermit the Frog fan? This book is 800 pages long though, which is large for me. I shied away from reading book 4 onward of the Harry Potter series, because they were just so long.

Sara,
You can work on mine slowly....because it will take me some time to reciprocate the PIF this year! But I'll get it done!

Glad you are able to ride your horse in the spring weather! what a treat for both of you!

My neighbor's horses were very frisky with each other yesterday...so glad to be free of the winter muck on the ground I think...they were running and jumping with each other. I love to watch them!

I've been known to start more than one book at a time. (Mostly because I can't remember where I put the first one down!!) Right now I'm reading "The House of Sand and Fog". Just started, I'll let you know how I like it.

I am always reading more than one book at a time but then I finish them so slowly. Every time I think I will just read on book I get sidetracked and before I know it I have two or three going but all different genres so I don't get confused.
